Good evening my dear friends, so I had a wonderful day out with my daughter. Shopping, lots of tea, lunch and we finished it off with a trip to @hitchinlavender to collect wild flowers 🌿 Her name is Lilly and she reminds me of summer meadows so I thought this pic very fitting. She’s my mini me, a creative butterfly flitting from one thing to the next, in search of the best flowers. Hello dear friends, I’m trying something new and I wanted to share it with you. I picked up my paint brushes again at the start of the year and started to paint the seasons. I put my brave head on and have done a couple of exhibitions, I was terrified & excited, turns out I needn’t of been terrified, it’s the fear of the unknown isn’t it, that and putting yourself out there. But you have to put yourself out there if you want things to happen don’t you? I’m taking the next step now and trying a slightly different approach to selling my paintings. So it works like this- you only pay what you think it’s worth! I’m not putting a price on them. I’m doing this through instagram only (pieces that are in shops/galleries are priced). Barn inspo 😍 I’m a little in love with these buildings at Southwold docks. So much so that I clad my old lean to conservatory in black wood (it had yuk bricks for the base). I love how it can be used to make interesting buildings and cover up ugly brick work. Paint it white for a cool coastal classic look or black for beautiful contrasts against the sky and planting. Anyhoo, are you having a good weekend? Wasn’t it gorgeous yesterday ☀️ Planning a garden day today 🌿 it’s been completely ignored as the exhibition took over everything.
